About Dr. Diane

Dr. Diane's Story

In 2004, Dr. Diane® was bitten by a deer tick and got a bulls-eye rash. For 18 months she was misdiagnosed by numerous physicians and suffered with painful joints and a rash from her knees to her neck. She also had a mini stroke in the motor area, which caused her not to be able to button her clothes or pull up a zipper. Finally she went to her cousin, a physician who specializes in infectious disease. He diagnosed her with Lyme Disease. Due to her allergies to antibiotics, she was helped with an herbal antibiotic, Golden Seal. This herb along with the nutritional counseling and whole food supplements provided by Martha Lindsay, who now works with Dr. Diane®, made all the difference. Dr. Diane® no longer has any symptoms of Lyme Disease.

On February 22, 2008, once again, Dr. Diane's life was suddenly transformed as a result of still another automobile accident. Driving to her office a snow plow broad sided her automobile taking off the front portion of it. The impact caused Dr. Diane® to become unconscious at the wheel of her automobile. She was out of work for a month with symptoms of Postconcussive Syndrome. During this period, she had several MRI's, which showed additional brain injury along with a 1 cm. meningioma (Brain Tumor) in the frontal area of her brain. She immediately consulted with her brain surgeon, who let her know that it was not cancerous and she would be fine. Using the treatment methods mentioned in Coping with Mild Traumatic Brain Injury along with her integrative approach, Dr. Diane was able to return to work by August 2008.

On May 1, 2010, Dr. Diane® sustained still another concussion. She was reclining in a zero gravity lounge chair by Frontgate, which clearly was defective. Its hinges suddenly broke and catapulted Dr. Diane® backwards knocking her unconscious for several minutes. Once again Dr. Diane® went to various doctors, underwent a CAT scan and MRI to conclude she had a concussion. With the help of her integrative team, the methods in her book, "Coping with Mild Traumatic Brain Injury" and plenty of rest, she was able to return to work within 3 weeks.
